🌟 STEM Fun With Robots! 🤖✨
Year 4 have had a great time today at Harper Adams University! They programmed Lego models, took part in an exciting F1 workshop, and explored a range of hands-on STEM activities.
One of their favourite experiences involved the Edison Robot. Pupils used simple instructions to design their own robot “roads” with insulation tape—adding curves, turns, and challenges for the robot to follow. As their confidence grew, they even had the chance to try programming using barcodes and Scratch.
We also showcased the ATLAS Robot, our advanced teaching platform. ATLAS can navigate using an onboard compass and even follow a line with its AI camera—though this one is a bit more advanced for younger learners!
There are lots of Edison-based activities we can offer, and we’d be happy to deliver a workshop based on whichever one sparks your child’s interest.
What a brilliant day of creativity, problem-solving, and engineering fun! 🚀✨
