Wellbeing
At Hanley St Luke's, the mental health of all is important. Miss Facey is the mental health and wellbeing champion for our school and she works closely with our SEND team and Emily Machin, our Mental Health Support Team (MHST) Trainee Therapist. Emily will be working alongside us to support our children, through work with them, our families and staff with engaging workshops, tailored interventions, and supportive training opportunities.

The Zen Den
Miss Jennings and Miss Johns also help support our school's mental health and well-being by running a lunchtime club called the Zen Den. Every day, children can visit the Zen Den to talk about their feelings and emotions in a calm, safe space. The club also helps them learn ways to take care of their mental health and build emotional resilience.
