Giant African Land Snails.
We have lots of snails-  some are Albino which means they are paler in colour. We can see life cycles in action with the eggs, hatchlings and baby snails as well as the big adult snails!
They are herbivores just like Trevor. Their favourite food is cucumber🥒 but they also like: apples, grapes, lettuce and strawberries.  🐌

It is another wonderful opportunity for our children to enhance their understanding of caring for animals and the science links such as life cycles and animal types. Children will love the hands on experience of real animals to enhance their lessons and to care for.
