The Great Science Share
๐ Our KS2 Scientists Shine at the Great Science Share! ๐
What an exciting day it’s been for our Key Stage 2 children who took part in the Great Science Share for Schools at Port Vale! ๐งชโฝ๏ธ This incredible event brought together young scientists from across the city to celebrate curiosity, collaboration, and the joy of discovery—and our pupils certainly rose to the occasion!
Our children proudly presented their brilliant ‘Bridge Bonanza’ experiment, showcasing their knowledge of structures and engineering by demonstrating what makes a strong, stable bridge. With enthusiasm and confidence, they shared their learning with pupils from other schools, answering questions and sparking interest in science and engineering all around!
Adding to the excitement, our talented podcast team joined the action, capturing the buzz of the day by interviewing a whole host of special guests. ๐๏ธ From the Lord Mayor of Stoke-on-Trent, to engineers from JCB, scientists, media professionals from Port Vale, and science leads across the city, our children asked thoughtful questions and discovered why science is such an essential part of education and our future.
It was a truly inspiring event that has left our children buzzing with excitement and full of ambition. We’re so proud of how they represented our school—with passion, curiosity, and confidence. Who knows? We may have just met the future scientists, engineers, and broadcasters of tomorrow! ๐๐ฌ๐ง
