🌍🎉 Celebrating Sir David Attenborough at Hanley St Luke’s Academy 🎉🌍 

On Friday 8th May, our whole school came together to celebrate an incredible milestone — Sir David Attenborough turning 100 years old! 💚 

We spent the day learning about who Sir David Attenborough is, the amazing work he has done, and why he is such an important figure in protecting our natural world. Children also took part in thoughtful discussions about climate change, how we can look after our planet, and the small but meaningful ways we can all live more sustainably. 🌱♻️ 

Sir David has always believed in the power of children to shape the future, saying: 

“Young people – they care. They know that this is the world that they’re going to grow up in and spend the rest of their lives in.” 

Our children showed just how true this is with their brilliant ideas, enthusiasm, and commitment to caring for our planet. 🌎✨ 

Happy 100th Birthday, Sir David — thank you for inspiring generations past, present, and future. 💚
