After School Curriculum Information Meeting for Parents and Carers

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are pleased to invite you to an After School Curriculum Information Meeting on Tuesday 20th October 2026 at 4:30pm in 5S.

Over the last 12 months, we have made a number of positive changes and adaptations to our curriculum to ensure that the children of Hanley St Luke's have the very best learning opportunities possible. Our curriculum has been carefully designed to inspire, challenge and support every child, enabling them to develop the knowledge, skills and values needed to flourish both in school and beyond.

During the meeting, we will introduce our new Curriculum Drivers, which sit at the heart of our curriculum and help shape the learning experiences we provide for our pupils. We will share the thinking behind these changes, explain how they underpin teaching and learning across the school, and outline our vision for the future.

As part of this, we will share our goals for the 2026-27 academic year, including our commitment to providing a rich, ambitious and inclusive curriculum that develops confident learners, effective communicators, responsible citizens and aspirational individuals. Our aim is to ensure that every child leaves Hanley St Luke's with the knowledge, skills, character and values needed to succeed in the next stage of their education and in an ever-changing world.

This after-school meeting will provide an opportunity for you to learn more about the exciting developments taking place across our academy and how they will positively impact your child's learning journey. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and find out how you can support your child at home.
