We were delighted to welcome Pastor Trevor from New Springs Church and our Chair of Governors, Mr. Andrew Wragg, into school yesterday!
Our KS2 pupils enjoyed a beautiful Christingle Worship, and everyone had the chance to make their very own Christingle. A huge thank-you to Pastor Trevor for leading such a special service — and for the oranges and the gorgeous books gifted to our Year 5 and 6 children.
Enjoy these snapshots from our wonderful morning! 📸🕯️🎄
Biscuit from The Gingerbread Centre came along with Katie to tell us all about the fantastic work the charity do to support families and parents in need of housing or help and support for their homes. The children asked lots of questions in a special assembly where Katie and Biscuit talked about what a charity is and what help people may need.
They will also be joining us at the Christmas Fair so look out for their stall to find out more!

Our Year 6 children had an amazing opportunity! 🎉
Thanks to generous funding from Henkel, they took part in a fully funded Challenger Experience Day delivered by the Engineering Development Trust.
The workshop was hands-on and science-packed! 🧪 Children explored the fascinating world of adhesives by creating different types of glue and testing their strength using scientific tools they don’t usually get to use in school.
As a bonus, every child earned an Industrial Cadet Award, a nationally accredited recognition of their STEM achievement. 🌟
A huge thank you to Henkel and EDT for inspiring the next generation of engineers and scientists! 🙌

Our Before and After School Club is open every weekday, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am - 8.45am and 3.15pm to 6:00 pm. The club provides a safe and welcoming environment where children can enjoy a healthy breakfast, fun activities, and homework support before and after the school day.

We look forward to supporting your family with flexible childcare options!
Today, Mrs Facey came to visit the children in one to talk all about the toys she used to play with when she was the same age as the children.
It was a lovely way to find out more about Toys of the Past, and the children asked lots of interesting questions about what she played with. They even listened to one of her favourite stories, Peter Rabbit.
I’m sure you’ll join me in thanking Mrs Facey for giving some of her time today to speak to the children and extend their learning even further!
Thank you Mrs Facey 💛💙
On Tuesday 4th November, we welcomed Tracey from the Samaritan's Purse Charity to our Collective Worship.
She shared some photos and videos from her recent trip to Moldova with the charity to hand out shoeboxes collected as part of the Operation Christmas Child Appeal. The children represented themselves and the school exceptionally and learnt lots about the charity's mission and values.
This launches our Operation Christmas Child Appeal in School this year and we would love to welcome you to join our efforts.
Details on what a Shoebox can look like can be found here:

⚽ Exciting Visit from Stoke City Football Club! ⚽
Today’s assembly was a real treat — we were visited by Stoke City Football Club, and even their lovable mascot Pottermus joined the fun! 🦛 ❤️
The team shared some great insights about the club and told us all about an exciting opportunity to watch Stoke City take on Hull City on 29th November.
If you’d like to grab tickets for your family, make sure to check out Mrs. Farnell’s previous post for all the details on how to get yours.
It’s time to get cheering — Go Stoke! 🔴⚪
