      Published 11/11/25

Our Year 6 children had an amazing opportunity! πŸŽ‰

Thanks to generous funding from Henkel, they took part in a fully funded Challenger Experience Day delivered by the Engineering Development Trust.

The workshop was hands-on and science-packed! πŸ§ͺ Children explored the fascinating world of adhesives by creating different types of glue and testing their strength using scientific tools they don’t usually get to use in school.

As a bonus, every child earned an Industrial Cadet Award, a nationally accredited recognition of their STEM achievement. 🌟
A huge thank you to Henkel and EDT for inspiring the next generation of engineers and scientists! πŸ™Œ

    • Year 1 - Terrific Toys Through Time

      Published 06/11/25

Today, Mrs Facey came to visit the children in one to talk all about the toys she used to play with when she was the same age as the children.
It was a lovely way to find out more about Toys of the Past, and the children asked lots of interesting questions about what she played with. They even listened to one of her favourite stories, Peter Rabbit.
I’m sure you’ll join me in thanking Mrs Facey for giving some of her time today to speak to the children and extend their learning even further!

      Thank you Mrs Facey πŸ’›πŸ’™
