Year 3 had great fun in Geography making relief maps of South America. The children used modrock to build the physical features and show the different heights of the land across the continent.
By shaping the land and adding the modrock, they could see how some areas are very high, like the mountains, while others are much lower. It was a fun, hands-on activity that helped us understand how the land height varies across South America.
