Attendance

Good attendance is imperative for children to receive all of the benefits our wonderful school has to offer.

Our aim for good attendance is between 100% to 97%. Each week we will be sharing our attendance figures and celebrating them in our awards assembly on a Friday. The winning year groups will each get 1 dojo point.

Children who have been here and on time every day all week, also receive 3 dojo points on a Friday for our Friday attendance award.

Reporting an Absence

Parents are required to inform us via Studybugs before 9.30 am. Leave a message each morning your child is absent or if they are absent due to an appointment - this is a safeguarding requirement. If we do not hear from you, then a phone call will be made and we may conduct a home visit. Please let us know if we can support you in any way.

When to keep your child off school

It can often be challenging to decide whether your child is well enough to attend school. To help, we’ve provided useful guidance from the NHS, outlining conditions that may require your child to stay at home for a specific period. For more information please refer to the documents below.
