Imperial War Museum- Manchester

Year 6 have had an incredible day exploring the artefacts and immersing themselves in their history topic of World War II.

Their behaviour was excellent at the museum and they were role models looking so smart in their uniforms.

Well done Year 6 and thank you to the staff and volunteers who arranged and supported.

First of all, a huge thank you to all of our parents & carers who join us after school to have a look and celebrate our STEM Lab opening. I’m sure you will agree that it is an incredible space and somewhere for your children to foster their creativity and problem-solving skills through STEM activities and workshops.

We would also like to thank all of our special visitors who joined us this morning. It was wonderful to share our vision and passion for our STEM LAB with you. Thank you to QPS Printing for their incredible wrapping and design work, to Harper Adam’s Academy, Scott Walker at Keele University, Tina Whittaker from Science Across the City, other special guests, representatives from our local church and our governors. Also, thank you our trust CEO Emily Verow and Three Spires Trust. A big thank you to Miss Crowder and her wonderful team in the kitchen for the amazing cakes and delicious buffet for our guests.

A special thank you to Alea and her family for joining us and celebrating her fantastic logo design. A wonderful achievement, that will inspire all of our children.

Finally, we would like to thank all of the staff and our wonderful children who have helped to make today possible. The buzz around school was incredible and we are extremely proud of you all!
